Ask the people
who’d know.
Your taste layer for the real world, in any city, built from what the people you trust have eaten, heard, worn and done. Shout what you love. Ask for what you’re after. The answer comes back with a name on it.
There’s no sign-up.
There’s a key.
Someone vouches
A member sends you a key. Members hold three, and each one works once.
You text Good Shout
Open the key and send the text that’s already written. No app, no forms, no password.
You add yours
Good Shout asks for five things you’ve tried and would put your name on. A place, a song or a DJ, a brand. They become your guide, and they’re how your circle hears from you.
You ask, anywhere
If your people know it, you hear it from them, by name, with why them: what you’ve both loved, or that you named them for it. If they don’t, Good Shout looks to members whose taste fits yours, and says so. It never fills the gap from the internet.
Not just where to eat.
A shout is anything someone you trust would put their name on.
It learns whose taste
fits yours.
Your people, for each thing
The friend you trust for dinner isn’t always the one you trust for music. Good Shout learns who’s right for you in each, from what you’ve both loved.
It keeps up with you
Taste changes. When yours does, Good Shout notices, and you can always just tell it: more of this, less of that.
It won’t guess
If it isn’t sure what fits you, it says so, or asks you one question first. Less, but right.
Every answer sharpens the next
Say how it landed. That’s all the work there is.
Text “who are my people for music?” any time. Say “more like Chloe” to steer it.
“Get the uni shooter first. You can’t go wrong after that.”
Good taste
gets noticed.
When someone tries one of your shouts and loves it, you’ll hear about it. Once a month, The Shout names the most-loved shouts among your people. The members others trust most for something earn a standing on their guide.
No rankings, no follower counts. It’s earned by how often people love what you shout, never by how much you post.
Every shout is something someone actually tried.
No ads, no sponsored picks, nothing scraped from the internet. Each one is from a member who ate it, heard it, wore it or did it, and says so in their own words.
Never public.
Your shouts stay among members: your circle by default, all members if you choose, and anyone you send your guide to. We never sell them.
Quiet, unless you ask.
Good Shout answers when you text. Beyond that: a note when someone uses your key, and The Shout once a month, if you want it. Nothing else.
Membership is
by key.
Members hold three keys, and each one works once. Don’t know a member? Request a key, and we’ll email you one when a spot opens in your city.
